Removing detail lines

If you need to remove a detail line:

  1. Ensure that the insertion point is in one of the fields on the line
  1. Click the Delete Detail Line icon, or press: Option-⌘-D (Mac) or Ctrl-Shift-D (Windows), or choose Edit>Delete Detail Line

The line will be deleted. Note that lines without account codes are automatically removed when the transaction is accepted (if the line has a value, this will cause the transaction to go out of balance, and MoneyWorks will decline to accept it).

Alternatively, you can Right-click (option click if you must use a one button Mac mouse) on the detail line and choose Delete Detail Line from the contextual menu that appears
